While I was Creative Director Media Creative at Avenue A | Razorfish
(12/06 - 1/08), I led the building of the new WaMu brand online.
This included the very successful "Friendly Banner" campaign
that gives "banner" personality, wit and contextual awareness.
The Banner talks to the viewer in the WaMu voice, offering witty
remarks pertaining to it being a banner online in the web space,
financial-lite advice and talking up WaMu's great products.
Sugar Network Takeovers (Jan - Mar 2008)
The Sugar Network is a celebrity gossip, pop news, shopping and social
site with a largely female user base. WaMu partnered with the Sugar network
(popsugar.com) during their finance section launch to blanket the
site with over 80 Friendly banners for three months, including
3 weeks of roadblock takeovers, advertorials on the Savvy
Sugar Money page (savvysugar.com) and sponsored
gifts for the TeamSugar social section.
